When Calm Feels Far Away
Dec 07, 2025
Some days you wake up and just feel… off.
Like your mind is doing laps
and your body is somewhere else trying to keep up.
Nothing’s wrong.
You’re not doing life “bad.”
You’re just tired.
Or overstimulated.
Or human.
And when calm feels far away,
your Highest Self doesn’t disappear,
it just gets a little quieter.
A tiny reset you can try
Put your hand on top of your head.Like you’re reminding your body,
“Hey… I’m here.”
Take one slow breath out.
Feel your feet.
Look around the room and find one thing that’s real and right in front of you.
That’s it.
That’s the whole reset.
It’s not meant to change everything.
It’s just meant to bring you back
to you.
Your Highest Self is still whispering
It doesn’t show up in huge moments.
It usually shows up in tiny ones, like:
-
when you finally exhale
-
when your shoulders drop on their own
-
when something small makes you smile
-
when your body settles for half a second
Those little moments?
That’s the whisper.
That’s the part of you that already knows what you need.
You’re not lost
You didn’t mess up.
You’re not behind.
You’re just remembering yourself
one tiny moment at a time.
